  3. Hi Jessie! I tried your recipe yesterday and unfortunately it didn't work... Boo! I couldn't find my old recipe to tweak it for THM but I do know that I always used eggs to hold the dough together (which my dough definitely did not)... So I'm just curious if this is missing egg whites or what you did to help your dough actually form a ball and stay together rather than crumble? Thanks!

    1. This is not my recipe. I posted it with permission from a lady in the Trim Healthy Mama Facebook Group. She didn't have a way to share it outside the group and needed it posted on a blog. I'm sorry I am unable to answer your questions.

  4. How can it be THM friendly if it has honey in it? Do you substitute something else for this?

    1. The amount of honey spread throughout 2 loaves does not make it off plan since each serving would have such a tiny amount in it. She says on her blog that an admin checked her recipe out before posting.

  9. I have successfully made this recipe without a bread machine! I have a Bosch mixer, but I imagine it would work great with a KitchenAid as well. It turns out wonderful, although a bit fragile for sandwiches. I absolutely adore this bed with a smear of butter and some sugar-free strawberry jam!

  10. When I make this bread, it doesn't rise like in the pics. Anyone know how to adjust it for high altitude? Hoping that is the problem. Thanks!
